The prevalence of mutations C1653T, T1753V, A1762T and G1764A was significantly higher in genotype C than B (P = 0.015 for C1653T, P = 0.001 for T1753V and P < 0.001 for A1762T and G1764A) but there was no difference in their prevalence between subgenotype Ce and Cs.
