We observed the p.V5L variation was present in almost all sequences analysed (>=83% prevalence for all genotypes). c.1896G>A was the second most common variant, particularly with HBV genotypes B, D, I and C, while c.1762A>T/c.1764G>A ranked third but was less genotype-specific.
