Evidence Of the 19 isolates from HBeAg-positive sera, 12 had mutations in the BCP: one had T1753V (MK503763) and nine had A1762T/G1764A (MK491814, MK491826, MK491818, MK491799, MK503736, MK503756, MK503763, MK503741, MK491825); sample MK503747 had A1762T/G1764A, whereas MK491813 had a deletion at position 1764; one had TCTT at nt 1809-1812 (MK491816).
