Analysis of the TP domain sequence 6 months after cessation of therapy (figure 2, lanes c) showed that 2 mutations—the T62N change and the Y118N substitution—persisted as major viral sequences after treatment and the 5 other mutations were not found after drug withdrawal, suggesting that they may be specifically related to antiviral treatment
