Case report
Effector
The patient had a VAS score of 8 prior to the acupuncture therapy, which was reduced down to a VAS score of 4–5 for 10–15 min after the treatment. When all the needles were removed, he had a VAS score of 1–2. The patient was recommended another acupuncture session next day. However, he was unable to visit us due to being out of town. On the phone, he stated that he lived his daily life without recurrence of the pain for more than 24 h; however, a headache of VAS score 4 recurred 30 h later.
